Meet the Dexcom Summer Internship Program:
Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing lives for patients with diabetes? Dexcom's U.S. 10-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our hybrid and remote work model ensure that we can invite a diverse and talented intern class from across the country. Interns will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop their skills all while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of "Game Changers" based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. Internship Department Details:

  • Team Highlights: As a Systems Engineer Intern at Dexcom, you will play a vital role in contributing to the development of our products and working closely with our dynamic and collaborative Systems Engineering team. Our team is passionate about creating solutions that make a positive impact on patients and individuals. You will have a chance to work closely with experienced mentors who are committed to your professional development.

Where you come in:
  • You will develop and document product requirements, ensuring clear and concise communication between engineering teams. Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate user needs into technical requirements.
  • You will learn to establish and maintain traceability matrices to ensure that design and development activities align with defined requirements. You will assist in the creation of test plans and protocols for verification and validation.
  • You will engage in cross-functional collaboration with both hardware and software teams to understand the complete product ecosystem. You will contribute to the discussions on System architecture, design and integration.
  • You will gain hands-on experience in mobile app development, focusing on the integration of software components to create user-friendly interfaces for our products.
  • Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the development and test of our devices.
  • You will work on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity aspects, ensuring seamless communication between our products and receiving devices.

Education and Experience:
  • Typically requires a completed Bachelors degree and actively enrolled Masters, JD, or PhD students with a minimum of 0-2 years related experience.

Non-Exempt Salary Details:
The hourly salary range for this role is $35.00 to $42.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
