Intern II- Social Work
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (3-4 days/week onsite in office). When reporting to the office, the location will be on MMM Holdings regional office located on PR- BAYAMON, PLAZA TROPICAL CENTER CARR 167, Puerto Rico.
Schedule: This position will work during a first shift Monday thru Friday for the duration of the Summer Internship program.
The Intern II is for participants of an approved internship program for undergraduate college students. Specific work assignments will vary by department.
How you will make an impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive community data bank.
Conduct outreach and perform calls to community agencies and resources.
Document Social Work interventions and client interactions accurately.
Keep a detailed log of agencies, including scope of services, municipality, inclusion criteria, available services, and contact information.
Assist in organizing and updating client files and records.
Collaborate with Social Work team members to assess client needs and develop appropriate interventions.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be part of an approved academic course of study, and that course of study must be applicable to the company's operations or the support of those operations.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in the Social Work field.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
