We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

This intern position will join the Dominion Energy Project Construction Organization's Offshore Wind Engineering team.
This role will support a cross-functional team consisting of multiple engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical. etc.) who are designing and constructing the largest Offshore Wind Project in the United States. Once constructed off the coast of Virginia Beach, the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) will produce 2.6GW of electricity, enough energy to power up to 660,000 homes.
- Use fundamental engineering skills to support the team's completion of complex tasks and assignments.
- Support project management tasks such as schedule reviews, technical queries, design documentation, invoice processes, change order reviews, etc.
- Participate in design and engineering meetings concerning all aspects of the project. This includes wind turbines, transition pieces, foundations, offshore substations, medium and high voltage subsea cables, as well as various transportation and installation tasks.
- Must be a good communicator.
- Must be enrolled in an Engineering degree program from an ABET accredited Engineering program at a four year or post-graduate college or university. Preferred majors: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2024 or later
- Candidates must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
- Must be enrolled in an Engineering degree program from an ABET accredited Engineering program at a four year or post-graduate college or university. Preferred majors: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2024 or later
- Candidates must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
