Purchasing Intern

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seek a Purchasing Intern for our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. This would be a contract position and would be paid through our contract agency, Advance Services Inc.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant can include:

• Support purchasing team with diverse clerical and administrative support, which can include, data entry, filing and copying
• Follow up and communicate with suppliers on part delivery for service and production parts
• Assist Purchasing Agents with various tasks, for example, downloading prints and following up on quotes

Required Qualifications for the Purchasing Assistant:

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to recognize priorities and work well without detailed instructions
• Must be proficient with computers and computer applications
