$21.16 - $28.23 Per Hour
JOB SUMMARY: Support creation of facility designs and layouts for an industrial repair environment. Perform supportive engineering activities related to other facilities projects as needed. Hours may vary from week to week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Utilize CAD software including: Solidworks, Autocad, and/or Revit to produce designs, models, and detailed blueprints of facilities and shop layouts.
2. Perform project management activities for assigned work.
3. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
4. Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support electronic documentation and database maintenance efforts.
2. Support Facilities-related projects as required.
3. Must be able to travel up to 25% occasionally and as required - both on a planned and short-notice basis.
4. Work within and promote corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Strong oral and written communication skills.
2. Must possess good analytical, numerical, problem solving, and reasoning abilities.
3. Must be able to accurately interpret architectural and mechanical blueprints.
4. Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of computer systems, settings and file management.
5. Must have strong computer skills including CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
6. Ability to work with various personalities.
7. Must be able to perform the job duties needed.
8. Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
9. Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Two-year degree in field of industrial engineering or be actively enrolled in a related four-year degree program.
3. Working knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
4. Current driver's license.
5. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
