Intern - Dia, Digital Pathology

The Position
The Roche Digital Pathology solution is designed by pathologists for pathologists. It operates harmoniously with existing healthcare systems to optimize processes and transform patient outcomes. It's maximizing the potential of laboratories, unlocking benefits for patients, pathologists, partners, and trusts. A flexible, end-to-end Digital Pathology solution designed to fit pathology lab needs with slide scanners, image management software and image analysis algorithm.
This internship position is located in Santa Clara or Tucson, On-site
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing design and messaging with the Digital Pathology global team
• Work directly with the international product managers on planning and design of slides scanners, image analysis algorithms and image management software
• Work with the Digital Pathology global team on market and competitive assessment

Program Highlights

• Intensive 12-weeks , full time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
• Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
• A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
• Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
• Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required)
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
OR - Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
OR - Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Required majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, Pre-Med, BioChemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Histology
Required skills:

• Proficient with Google suite of office tools (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Chat, Google Meet, Calendar, G-Mail). Preferred
• Powerpoint, Google Slides or similar experience and ability to design and create slides. Preferred
• Experience with laboratory testing or equipment (Histology, Pathology, Microbiology, Cytology, Lab Chemistry, Immunology, Immunohistochemistry, etc). Preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with a fast paced, team environment.
• Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus, but not essential.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $21.00 - $50.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits
