Under the direction of the DEI director and Senior Manager of communication, strategy and engagement, the DEI Communications Intern will support the team with internal campaigns, strategy and communications to strengthen Micron's employer branding.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage internal tools and channels as appropriate to ensure communication effectiveness and consistent messaging, branding and image.
- Manage and create presentations to support internal communications strategy.
- Implement metrics reports to measure effectiveness of internal/external communication channels and messages to continuously improve our strategy.
- Support the team by working with key internal collaborators to capture and prepare content for DEI communications deployment.
- Assist in the organization and execution of employee and community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven writing skills in corporate communication, marketing, journalism, or related experience.
- Proficiency in using SharePoint or similar web posting tools.
- A strong commitment to the principles of diversity, equality and inclusion demonstrated through work experience, college activities, or other meaningful experience.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong writing skills for corporate communication and social media marketing.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge and experience following AP Style.
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint tools.
- Experience and examples using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience following brand style guidelines.
- Experience with ServiceNow tools and graphic design a plus.
Education:
- Pursuing at minimum a Bachelor's Degree
- Must not graduate before September of 2024
