Overview

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Global Internal Communications, and will be accountable for assisting with day-to-day tasks that support the Crocs Global Internal Communications team. Roles and responsibilities will include facilitating note taking and follow up recaps for agency calls and internal meetings, securing and shipping samples, media and industry trend monitoring and reporting, drafting media materials, conducting research, and briefing in PR asset needs.

The ideal candidate will have business and creative writing experience, will be detail- and-deadline-oriented, and will be prepared to dive in to support a variety of tasks and projects that will support their team and channel peers. All candidates must exhibit a desire and motivation to learn, as well as the ability to work enthusiastically as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Participate in and lead special projects, which may include the development and delivery of communications campaigns for Crocs, Inc. employees
• Write and design communications, newsletter stories, and related content
• Work on both content and image/graphic creation, including branding and graphical strategies for both campaigns and general communication needs
• Collaborate with individuals across the internal and business communications teams, our digital and content teams and other corporate functions.
  

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Enrolled in a degree program (Journalism or Communications preferred)
• Understanding of the communications landscape, pays attention to key trends and emerging opportunities
• Understanding of the basics of Internal Communciations strategy and mass communications
• Fundamental writing, research, communications and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency in AP Style
• Ability to promptly and professionally respond to and manage communications and inquiries
• A self-starter who is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage timelines to ensure all projects and tasks are meeting key deadlines
• Open interest in Corporate Communications, Employment Branding and/or Internal Communications
• Previous experience or internship in corporate or internal communications preferred
Previous experience using SharePoint preferred
