EHS Intern
Project Name: EHS Procedures and Risk Assessments
Project Duration: 3 months
Paid Internship: The pay rate for this internship is commensurate with the candidate's years of schooling and major. The pay scale is between $15 - and $26 per hour.
Requirements:
Up to Bachelor (preferably Junior or Senior)
Coursework Prerequisites: Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Engineering Environmental or related field
Location: Sandersville, Georgia with day trips to Langley, South Carolina
PROJECT SCOPE:
PMA NA has been working on rolling out North American-specific EHS procedures. To accomplish this we require extra support at several facilities in Sandersville and Langley SC to conduct verification audits and specific risk assessments. The person will also do a GAP assessment of the S29 Skills matrix and the site's risk assessments. Based on the results of the GAP Assessment, they will help the sites develop a plan to write the additional risk assessments for the sites.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION & DELIVERABLES:
This job will spend approximately 50% of their time in the plant sites to gather data and the remaining time at a desktop generating risk assessments, and organizing spreadsheets and documents.
