SUMMARYProvides general administrative support to department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists with support issues and responds to all problems in a timely, courteous manner;May conduct miscellaneous filing;Answers telephone and routes calls to others; operates fax machines, scanners, printers and copiers;Provides word processing assistance as required;Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceCurrently enrolled in a college as a junior or senior, majoring in math, insurance / risk management, or other related field of studyRelated work experience preferred.SKILLS REQUIREDGood verbal and written communication skillsGood customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsGood problem solving and time management skillsIntermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)Ability to work within a team and to foster teamworkProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
