The Automotive Power Group is seeking a motivated, experienced Design and Applications Engineer Intern to provide support to our High-Density Automotive Power Regulator IC Design Group located at ADI's Wilimington, MA site. The group consist of 4 people all working to make the best-in-class High Density Power Converter products to enable the next evolution in High Power ASIC found in modern cars equipped with ADAS.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide applications support and circuit development to complete the evaluation board designs for newly developed IC.
  • Build and test custom demonstration circuits for Analog's high-density power converter products with unique buck topology.
  • Evaluate new silicon and collect data to determine if the silicon meets the Application design objectives.
  • Generate Presentations and Write Datasheets, Application Notes, or Design Articles to share findings.
  • Develop Automated Test Solutions for Bench Evaluation.

Minimum qualifications
  • A minimum of an MSEE with a concentration in Power Electronics
  • Familiarity with products containing digital communication such as I2C and PMBus
  • Familiarity with Software programming in Python, C, C++, or C# will be helpful
  • Analog circuit design, analysis, and debug
  • PC board layout design techniques
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • SIMPLIS and/or SPICE modeling of power supplies
