The Leidos CIO Services Hosting Services Org is excited to introduce an internship opportunity for the position of Agile Scrum Master in the Orlando, FL office (Virtual options available). This role provides a unique chance to contribute to the dynamic and impactful IT organization, offering valuable experience in Agile frameworks and methodologies.
As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work side by side with a seasoned Scrum Master and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies. This hands-on experience will deepen your understanding of Agile principles.
Your role extends beyond Agile team activities as you support the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) in driving the organization's Agile transformation. This involvement offers a broader perspective on Agile practices and their impact on organizational success.
Moreover, your contribution to fostering a culture of continuous improvement will not only benefit the teams but will also shape your understanding of the importance of innovation in Agile environments.
Lastly, your involvement in generating and analyzing Agile team metrics provides exposure to the quantitative side of Agile, giving you insights into performance measurement and areas for enhancement.
This internship is designed to be a rich learning experience, providing you with exposure to various facets of Agile practices and real-world applications within an organizational context.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with an experienced Scrum Master and Agile teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring the effective implementation of Agile principles.
- Contribute to the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) organization's efforts to advance the overall Agile transformation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Agile teams, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
- Generate and analyze Agile team metrics, providing valuable insights into team performance and areas for improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field.
- Strong passion for Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Familiarity with Jira or other Agile project management tools.
- Previous internship or coursework related to Agile methodologies.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
