Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annually

Qualifications:
- 7+ years field sales experience in the transportation industry required.
- 5 + years experience in intermodal sales required.
- Previous transportation or sales experience in assigned geographic region preferred.
- Bachelors in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills.
- Must be able to transfer knowledge to others.
- Must be able to problem solve in high pressure situations.
- Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage all field activities for Intermodal Sales in assigned territory and accounts or areas with direct sales responsibilities. Be expert in assigned region for competitive activity, customer trends and knowledge of load volumes within assigned region.
- Manage and supervise Intermodal Sales efforts in assigned geographic region while functioning as a subject matter expert for that area.
- Responsible for all Intermodal sales activity within assigned territory.
- Prioritize and communicate customer commitments in assigned sales area.
- Promote Intermodal with other lines of business by keeping appropriate parties informed of all services rendered by Intermodal.
- Support Intermodal sales activity and lend strength to close new business for Swift.
- Provide strategic information for success in soliciting new business and in managing existing business.
- Perform quarterly sales reviews with all designated Swift Sales personnel in assigned territory and present findings to the Executive team.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with Operations and Sales personnel.
- Prioritize Intermodal business within designated region.
- Provide market and customer information to leadership and other functional areas on a regular basis.
- As needed, assist in collecting receivables.
- Provide reports of sales activity and market data to respective Sales personnel.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
