Job description

As part of our continuous effort to grow our talented and innovative workforce, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Lab Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position will require a high level of proficiency in problem analysis, documentation, testing, validating, and time management in our fast-paced R&D environment. What You'll Do
- Assist with set up and operation of our various 3D printers.
- Support production process under the direction of engineers and managers.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that 3D printers are set up and operated optimally for specific projects.
- Assist with the creation of 3D printed prototypes and production parts.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on 3D printers, such as cleaning and lubricating moving parts.
- Keep up to date with new 3D printing technologies and techniques, and share this knowledge with the team.
- Follow detailed repair procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
- 3D print, laser cut, or fabricate teams designs.
- Able to perform simple mechanical modifications using a hand drill or Dremel tool.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in laboratory to test, and de-bug electro-mechanical systems
- Self-starter who is able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn new methods and apply them to the mission
- Excitement to take on new challenges with guidance of team
- Practical mechanical knowledge

The Good Stuff!
- Salary Range: $23 - $28/Hr. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data.
- In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
