We are looking to hire an Intermediate Controls Engineer to our team in Orlando, Florida. The Intermediate Controls Engineer is a key individual in our organization and will be working with our team of experienced engineering team. You will be involved with supporting a long-term project with a key customer in the global amusement park industry and will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting and conducting the testing.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• control system design
• electrical design
• PLC programming
• design and programming of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
• site commissioning
• project proposals and estimation
• preparing functional specifications
• subcontractor selection and supervision
• equipment selection and procurement.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of Technology in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering
• Two years of experience in the design and commissioning of discrete and/or motion control systems
• Two years of experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• experience with AutoCAD or EPLAN
• excellent communication skills

• commitment to significant travel.
