POSTING
In this role, you will:
* Supports the month end process including recording journal entries, as required, and reconciliations.
* Assistance preparing monthly financial statements.
* Contribute to detailed cost center analysis, research irregularities, and propose corrections.
* Assist the Controller to perform initial financial department audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
* Assist and support intercompany reconciliation and transfers as required.
Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* Working knowledge of US GAAP
* Intermediate Excel skills (including v-lookup and formula execution)
* Use of financial reporting tools including experience with a large ERP, Hyperian (Onestream), Power
* Ability to travel 10% of time.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Experience in project accounting
* Advantage in holding, or close to obtaining, a professional accounting designation - CPA, CMA
* Knowledge of absorption accounting
* Knowledge of municipal and industrial water market landscape

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $72,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
