IOP Counselor Job Description
Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. Located at the main campus on Alum Creek Drive, the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Counselor will develop and manage the IOP services in the Adult Outpatient Department. The IOP Counselor will serve as a group specialist but also assist with completion and/or review of chemical dependency, bio-psychosocial, and related assessments and client’s current functioning. Provide substance use counseling (individual and, group), crisis intervention, and substance use education. The IOP Counselor will develop, assign, and monitor individualized treatment and continuing care plans. An ideal candidate will have LPC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II or III Licenses. IOP Counselor Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with two (2) year of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment
  • State of Ohio licensure: LPC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II or III required
  • Workweek schedule: Monday-Friday, 12 pm-8 pm
