Enterprise Engineering Services (EES) is seeking a qualified candidate for an Integration Engineer(ONSITE) position located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey offering a competitive yearly salary of $120 - 125K.

SUMMARY
EES provides mission-critical engineering support at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, FAA's premier research and test facility, to facilitate the safety and efficiency of Air Traffic Control services on a nation-wide level. EES provides ongoing sustainment and evolution of the supporting infrastructure for the National Airspace System in multiple domain areas. We have an imminent opening for highly qualified candidates with applicable expertise in Integration Engineering to support a real-time air traffic management system.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Uses automated software source control systems to manage large, complex, mission-critical software baselines in a multi-stream, multi-release, multi-target environment
- Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to ensure that all systems are integrated to meet business requirements
- Create and manage data flows between systems and applications
- Utilizes automated means to manage target-specific software deployment images and tools
- Prepares software releases for deployment to integration, test, and operational environments
- Analyze and debug system integration issues
- Monitor network and system performance and modify as needed
- Develops tools, scripts, and procedures to improve software lifecycle quality and productivity
- Prepares and adapts software release and software deployment and integration documentation
- Compile metrics and data as needed
- Develops tools, scripts, and procedures to improve software lifecycle quality and productivity
- Demonstrates highest levels of quality focus and attention to detail in ensuring accurate and complete software promotions, merges, builds, packaging, configuration, documentation, and deployment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizen and permanent residency
- Bachelor's degree (in computer science, engineering, or mathematics) + 10 yrs. related experience
- Experience using Java /J2EE applications
- Experience using C/C++, PERL, Bash Shell Scripting, and Python
- Experience with Linux Red Hat Software Suite, IBM Rational Team Concert, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management, GitHub, Eclipse, Docker, and/or Ansible
- Experience with HP Open Text
- Experience with adapting and integrating open source and other third-party software
- Knowledge of user interfaces
- Experience with Node Manager, SNMP Manager, Operation Bridge Manager
- A strong knowledge of how to interpret organizational, software and hardware implementation blueprints and technical documents
- Software engineering background with System Integrating experience
