Intake Specialist

Position Summary

Wholesale Intake Specialists play a critical role in Kaleafa’s operations. They are essential in keeping company stores’ inventory stocked with a diverse selection of products. Before any product becomes available to the customer, an Intake Specialist accepts and processes the product, creates labels, and prepares the product for dispatch to a retail location. Intake Specialist associates must be attentive to detail and proficient computer users. The ideal candidate should be a team player, organized, focused and display integrity in all aspects of employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all OLCC guidelines.
• Process products in a timely and organized fashion.
• Create accurate labels for product and display jars using computer software.
• Ensure each product is weighed, counted and labeled according to inventory tracking systems.
• Intake and organize products on digital and physical inventories.
• Transfer product through inventory tracking systems.
• Assist in correcting inaccuracies in inventory tracking systems.
• Work with others to keep all areas clean, organized, and compliant to ensure an effective, efficient and safe workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit
• Ability to operate a state licensed digital scale
• Fine attention to detail and accuracy
• Moderate cannabis/product knowledge
• Ability to follow instructions with minimum supervision.
• High level working computer knowledge

The Intake Specialists position requires the ability to process data and merchandise through computer and web browser softwares; the ability to communicate with associates and guests; the ability to read, count and write accurately to complete all documentation. The ability to freely access all areas of the store including the sales floor, stock area, safe and register area. The position further requires the ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
