Intake Nurse | Lpn/Rn

We are immediately seeking an Intake Nurse, LPN/RN to join our team in the Aurora, CO location! You will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, assessment, physical examination, and recording/reviewing donor test results.
Responsibilities:

• Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and administer finger stick, and first aid as needed.
• Entering donor information into donor information system, as well as investigating post donation information.
• Managing, evaluating, and reporting donor reaction(s).
• Communicate with collaborating supervisors and specialist's regarding donor care.
• Maintaining accurate donor medical records.
• Provides support and education to donors around their medical needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate as a team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have an unencumbered CO license, and BLS certification.

The starting rate for this position is LPN$29-30/hr RN $34-35/hr. Employees may be eligible for Short Term and/or Long Term incentive benefits. Pay Details: $29.00 to $35.00 per hour
