Intake Customer Service Representative
Now hiring an Intake Customer Service Rep. This is a full-time office position with excellent benefits based at our corporate headquarters in Little Rock, AR. This position reports to our Intake Manager. This is a role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and solid computer skills. Friendly demeanor and ability to multi-task are important. General office hours at 8a-5p MON thru FRI.

Intake CSR Duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking calls from prospective Home Health patients & referral sources such as Hospital Case Managers, Physician's offices, etc.
- Describing Care IV's Home Health service options to referral sources & patients
- Over the phone, evaluating & determining if the patient is appropriate for Home Health care
- Verifying their payer source is in network with Care IV
- Sending & receiving faxes with necessary supporting documentation, signed orders, etc
- Follow up with physicians, clinics, long-term care facilities, hospitals, etc.
- Coordinating new patient onboarding with our Marketing Team to ensure satisfactory Customer Service to the referral sources & our patients
- Inputting new patient data into the computer system & assisting the RN with tracking & data reporting
- Additional duties as assigned
Intake Customer Service Rep Required experience:
- Recent experience working in a clinic or other professional medical office setting required (minimum 1 year)
- Solid history of excellent Customer Service in an office setting
- Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of office machinery (computers, multi-line phones, fax machines, email, etc.)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with patient intake and processing new patient referrals preferred
- Experience in a Home Health office a plus but not required
