Intake Clerk

We have a new Intake Clerk position available in our Intake Department. This position provides clerical and administrative support to Intake Department; assists nurses with faxes, insurance look-ups, documents in AIS (BESTCare), communicate with hospitals, referral sources and other duties as assigned.

8-hr shifts | Full-time

AM Shift | PM Shift | NOC Shift

Education & Experience:

· High school degree, GED or equivalent required

· Telephone etiquette and customer service skills

· Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel

· Data entry, time management, typing and organization skills

· Clerical experience working in an office, doctor’s office highly preferred

· Ability to maintain confidential information

· Current BLS

· Insurance knowledge preferred

· Previous experience in healthcare preferred
