Intake Clerk

MADDIN, HAUSER, ROTH & HELLER, P.C. has an opening for a full-time Intake Clerk in our busy Southfield, Michigan office.

Our high-performance law firm is interviewing candidates to join our administrative team. The Intake Clerk will perform a variety of tasks, including opening and closing physical and electronic files, manual document filing, file maintenance, off-site storage management, and secretarial support. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, flexible team player, and will possess excellent organizational and computer skills.

Job Responsibilities:

- Onboard new clients/matters by filling out necessary paperwork and opening electronic and physical files
- Enter new client information into computer systems
- Close files when matters conclude and timely purge on- and off-site files
- Provide client copies of closed matters upon request
- Provide secretarial support, including retrieving paper files upon request and manual document filing
- Other administrative support as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, particularly with following processes
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a law firm is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.45 - $22.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
