Your role:
As an Intake Care Coordinator (ICC) at our esteemed Maritime Care Coordination department, you will join the ranks of our elite team, dedicated to providing seamless, 24/7 coordination services for mariners across the globe who are facing medical emergencies or health issues. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a range of critical tasks, from coordinating shoreside medical evaluations — spanning urgent to routine cases — to facilitating telemedicine services, ensuring Crewmembers receive the necessary medical attention while serving on their vessel.
Your responsibilities extend beyond just coordination. You will be the vital link between Crewmembers, vessel Officers, Operations, and Crewing Departments, collaborating closely with our expert team to navigate through each case with precision and care. Your role is crucial in providing regular, detailed updates, ensuring all parties are informed and the best possible care is delivered efficiently.
Moreover, as part of the ICC team, you will manage crucial aspects of Mariner health and welfare. This includes coordinating pre-employment and return-to-work physical examinations, arranging for isolation or quarantine facilities, and organizing transportation, lodging, and repatriation. In cases where rapid and specialized transport is required, you will be responsible for coordinating air ambulance services, along with other additional services as needed.
In this role, your contribution will be key to maintaining the health and safety of mariners, ensuring they are fit for duty and receive the highest standard of care when needed. Join us in our mission to provide unmatched support and care to the maritime community.
