JOB TITLE: Intake Behavioral Health Nurse.
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
CLINICAL SUPERVISION: Medical Director
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time
General Job Summary: The Intake Behavioral Health Nurse’s primary role is to provide immediate access to services for our clients. The Nurse will complete scheduled health assessments and will work collaboratively to ensure the consistent flow of essential, time-sensitive information to the prescribers, communicate effectively with Director, Medical Director and prescribers, collaborate with referral sources and external clinical vendors, and provide education and assistance to clients, maintaining compliance with ABH protocols and policies.
This role will provide support the PMH-NP and F-NP medication prescribers (prescribers) by supporting the mission, policies and protocols of Anew Behavioral Health (ABH).
Responsibilities include:
Obtaining, reviewing, and documenting all information required to assist providers in the informed delivery of care to Behavioral Health and SUD clients. Close collaboration within department, all agency service lines, referral sources and clinical vendors.

Laboratory
OARRS/Prescribing
Client Compliance
Client Services
Agency and Provider Referrals/Clinical Vendors/External/Internal Collaboration
Qualifications:
RN with unrestricted Ohio nursing license
A minimum of 2 years nursing experience; preference given to candidates with outpatient mental/Behavioral Health experience or psychiatry experience .
