Job Description
We are seeking an Insurance Verification / Referral Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Answering / making phone calls to patients and insurers
- Schedule qualified appointments
- Verify insurance information for new patients, existing patients, and surgery procedures
- Communicating with insurers to confirm coverage on procedures
- Educate patients on Insurance benefits, if needed
- Call to obtain pre-authorization for recommended services and procedures
- Update insurance information for patients as needed
- Resolve patient insurance inquiries
- Maintain record of received referrals using Leading Reach platform
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Must be able to travel to and from clinics (Bedford and Flower Mound) depending on physician schedule
- Filing records and other paperwork within an organized system for easy access when required
- Ability to assist with Front Desk as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the medical field, Insurance Verification, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
