primary functions:
Provide administrative support for Insurance Services department and customer service assistance for Insurance clients. Maintain strong member relationships through onboarding of new clients and assisting with all service-related issues.
responsibilities:
- Exhibit a thorough knowledge of all AAA insurance products, memberships, and processes and maintain licensing requirements.
- Exhibit a thorough knowledge of the credit union’s products and services.
- Provide all administrative support for the Insurance Specialists.
- Prepare and distribute all new client packets and documents.
- As needed, make appropriate recommendations for credit union products and services to meet member needs.
- Responsible for assisting members with premium payments and personal data updates.
- Calculate and quote premium rates for recommended policies as needed to support Insurance Services Specialists.
- Develop long-term relationships with members and assist policyholders with claims process in the event of a loss.
- Manage time effectively to meet/exceed established administrative requirements. Prepare activity reports weekly/monthly.
- Facilitate strong referral program through branch meetings and preparation of educational literature.
- Assure the highest standards for member satisfaction through the timely resolution of member service issues, complaints, and problems.
- Contribute to efficient credit union operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission, and vision.
minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma with preferred 2 years work experience in financial services industry.
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Current Life Insurance Sales license.
- Must be able to attain additional insurance licenses required in all 50 states for selling and/or servicing our products.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.
- Self-starter with a demonstrable record in establishing new business and in achieving annual goals.
- Present a positive and professional image through courteous and effective verbal and written communications.
- Strong PC skills including Word and Excel applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
