Salary Plus Commission

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is in Las Vegas and is not remote.

A personal multi-line Insurance producer who is currently licensed in Property and Casualty. This person will be part of a dynamic sales team located in a sales-center environment and reports to the Insurance Call Center Manager. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales quotas via outside networking and developing centers of influence. In addition, they will answer inbound sales phone calls and will provide insurance solutions that will meet or exceed the needs of the caller and generate policies for the agency. This person will be provided with outbound lead sources to contact and meet with either inside or outside the sales office. Some service work is required. The right individual will take advantage of our incentives by maximizing all lead opportunities.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow business through product sales, cross-selling, and renewals
  • Establish client relationships and respond to client questions and inquiries
  • Conduct both inbound and outbound sales calls
  • Generate insurance leads via referral or networking relationships
  • Proven ability to close sales and call upon leads
  • Develop leads, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
  • Develop and strengthen networking relationships
  • Field underwriting and rating for new accounts
  • Prepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close new business
  • Meets product requirements
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance goals assigned by agency management
  • Responsible for meeting deadlines
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Follow up on Personal Lines prospects
  • Documents and maintains records in the agency management system
  • Maintains sales records
  • Maintain a strong work ethic

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess a resident state property and casualty insurance license and willing to obtain a life and health license.
  • Proven sales record
  • Strong communication and convincing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced with AMS360
  • Inbound and outbound call center sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work on a standard computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a cubical environment during the workday with limited or no distractions.
