Responsibilities:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Develop and maintain a client base through networking and referrals
- Conduct needs-based consultations to determine the most suitable insurance coverage for clients
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate policy processing
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telemarketing, outside sales, or retail sales
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and benefits administration is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships based on trust and integrity
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for policy management
