Job description

Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring for a Full-Time Insurance Premium Payment Associate!

This is a full time positions with day shift hours and great benefits!

Position is hybrid-onsite in Virginia Beach, VA

2 days in person at Sentara Park; 3 days remote

Hours: 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch) or 8:30am- 5pm (30 min lunch)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1 year Call Center Experience

  • Computer Proficient

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collections Experience
  • Healthcare Experience
  • Billing Experience

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Responds to record and process telephonic payment inquiries
  • Responsible for taking both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Responsible to work in multiple computer programs at a time
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of service to customers while managing changing volume demands of the call center
