We have a InsuranceBrokerage Assistantopportunity in ourChicago, Illinoislocation.

Each employee is a vitalmemberof our productionteam.
- New and renewal account information gathering
- Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
- Preparation of quotes, cover notes, binders, certificates, policies and tax filings
- Sorts and prioritizes workflow
- Process and distribute mail
- Checks and verifies for accuracy all completed documents
- Verifies underlying documentation
- Understands the suspense and renewal systems, clearing of accounts and invoicing
- Administration and coordination of internal processing and servicing of clients' needs
- Reviews audits for accuracy
- Set up files
- Incoming call management for the team
- Requesting and keeping track of missing information from outside sources
- Consistency checkpoints
- Assistance in accounting procedures such as invoicing
We are looking for people with:
- Knowledge of insurance industry
- 2-3 years' experience in similar position
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365 proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheets
- Effective communication skills, verbal and in written
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated drive
- Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
