Insurance Agent

Members 1st Insurance Services, Powered by Iscential, is seeking a growth-driven, career-oriented professional with an executive mindset to join our team! As a team member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community and our partners. Members 1st Insurance Services is located in Enola, PA and provides Insurance services to members throughout Central and Eastern PA. Some travel in and around Central PA would be needed although for when customers wish to meet face-to-face. The postion allows you to primarlily work from home. Products we provide include auto, home, business, farm, health, Medicare, retirement and life insurance. The team member we are looking for would specialize in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurances and have experience in, or the ability to learn Life Insurance products. Commercial Insurance experience would also be greatly appreciated but not required. We are a full-service Independent Agency with access to many markets and carriers. We work primarily with Credit Union Partners with daily leads/referrals provided. The compensation is a combination of salary and commissions. 6 figure total compensation would be reasonable over time with residual commissions building.

Responsibilities:

· Provide continuous professional advice, guidance, and suggestions to clients and prospects

· Work in a fast-paced environment where technology plays a major role in day-to-day operations

· Consult on, quote, propose, advise on, and close insurance policies with clients

· Responsible for the handling and remittance of all premiums collected, submitting clean and complete files for processing, and frontline underwriting of all cases produced

· Recommend changes and remarketing coverage as needed for clients

· Generate contacts, insurance expiration dates, and appointments

· Creation and execution of multi-faceted marketing plans including cold calling, direct mail, Linkedin, live events and social media for assigned agents and yourself

· Learn and master products and underwriting rules of Iscential’s insurance carrier product offering

· Responsible for organizing, managing, and updating CRM

· Measure and report weekly activity: contacts, insurance expiration dates, appointments, and premium

· Create and deliver executive level presentations

· Attend various networking events

Requirements:

· P&C license (required)

· Life license (required within 3 months of taking role)

· Other licenses such as Health Insurance, and other appropriate industry designations a plus

· Proven work experience in business development, and sales

· Fearlessness of learning and using new technology

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must have a coachable personality and willingness to learn

· Must have a high level of integrity and discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
