SalaryThe position of Claims adjuster/ Inspector involves learning the policy language and endorsements and being able to visit with insured about the coverage they have and handle the estimates and pay claims and process them on the computer with our software. The inspections are taking outside pictures of existing policies and also new policies and informing underwriting of the endorsements needed for that policy. Mileage is paid for the use of the employees vehicle. This is a 8 AM to 4:30 PM position with 1 hour lunch break Monday through Friday. On occasion an Saturday or Sunday may be needed to deal with claims. The Adjuster/Inspector will be required to obtain an Insurance license but not required to be hired. Construction knowledge and/or experience is beneficial.
