- Provide assistance, guidance, and oversight, as needed, for the preparation of specifications, designs, scopes of work, and construction packages for instrument installations, replacements, and upgrades. Efforts may involve control systems (PLC, DCS, etc.), analyzers, transducers, wireless sensors, control valves, and regulators.
- Develop, update, and maintain applicable reliability strategies and guidance documents and help develop project justifications to address plant reliability concerns and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Partner with the site and organizational business teams to identify long-term needs and formulate frameworks for action.
- Take a leadership role and provide mentoring and coaching to less knowledgeable team members in the evaluation and application of safety instrumented systems and associated compliance methods and measures throughout Invista, including acquiring Functional Safety Engineer Certification (TUV).
- Work with peers and individuals at the various sites to facilitate the adoption, implementation, and updating of industry-leading Reliability Safety Programs and program elements (e.g., SIS, Safety Managers, IPL, SIF, critical alarms, interlocks, burner management systems, etc.).
