The PCT plant engineer takes an active role in the daily asset management, optimization and modification of the chemical plant. The position holder takes over responsibilities in repairing processes and preventive maintenance programs and leads plant-wide projects related to compliance to legal and LXS-internal regulations and directives. Some functions of the role are to:
- Execute small scale capital projects and provide Instrumentation and Electrical technical support for larger capital projects performed by other support functions.
- Maintain high reliability for process control and instrumentation equipment through optimized predictive and preventive maintenance programs and propose solutions for repeat PCT equipment failures.
- Provide PCT technical support to the Maintenance Superintendent and Maintenance Planner Scheduler and ensure that adequate spare parts are available for new and existing PCT equipment.
- Maintain compliance for PCT inspection and testing programs (SIS Testing, Instrument Loop Testing and Calibrations, Grounding) and associated documentation.
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- 5-10 Years of Experience in I&E, process controls, DCS
- Siemens PCS7 experience is a plus
- Strong safety mindset and strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
