Job Description
What You'll Do
To prepare high school students for entry in welding jobs.
- Assist in recruitment of students for the Wilson Talent Center programs.
- Assist students to select appropriate training goals.
- Instruct students in various levels of welding.
- Manage welding laboratory including supplies and equipment.
- Manage the instructional process and work flow in the laboratory as it relates to the students' general learning.
- Evaluate and communicate student work, behaviors, and attendance with appropriate parties including but not limited to parents/guardians and local districts.
- Assist students to obtain work experience during instructional time and placement upon completion of program.
- Work as part of a teaching team instructing students in various levels of welding.
What You'll Bring
Need to Have
- Possesses or eligible for Vocational Certification in Welding. Bachelor's degree preferred with major in welding.
- Two years recent, relevant work experience as a welder.
