Are you passionate about creating truly engaging training content? If so, we are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team. This person will focus on analyzing, designing, developing, and editing new and existing e-learning content and documentation in support of Brightree products. You will be involved in all steps of the development cycle, including initial analysis through final evaluation. - Primary focus on developing engaging e-learning content, specifically, video tutorials as standalone content and as part of larger learning modules
- Performing audience analysis and developing appropriate learning objectives
- Designing and developing curricula and supporting learning materials around Brightree software applications
- Working with product experts and internal stakeholders to understand product features/functionality
- Working in a collaborative team environment
- Applying relevant adult learning principles to all instructional materials
- Coordinating and participating in quality control, proofreading, and distribution of learning content
- Performing administrative duties in Brightree’s learning management system, including onboarding users, creating curricula and associated learning objects, creating and managing learning tracks, and generating metrics
- Secondary degree or relevant experience in instructional design, adult education, or related field
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in the design and development of instructional and web-based material in support of a software application (ideally SaaS)
- Deep knowledge of Camtasia or equivalent
- Knowledge of WellSaid Labs or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of technical communication, adult learning theories, assessment and evaluation methods, and industry best practices in instructor-led, online, and blended learning solutions
- Deep knowledge of image editing software, i.e., SnagIt or Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to become proficient in multiple software applications through independent study
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Ability to guide discussions and elicit feedback to identify learning requirements
- Ability to consult, communicate, and engage SMEs (Product Managers, Trainers, Consultants, etc.) to understand and develop curricula and learning deliverables
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, collaborative, communication, and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of content authoring tools, i.e., Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate
- Knowledge of LMS curriculum/course structure and administration
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Experience in a healthcare environment

- At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is:
- $72,000 - $108,000
- For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
