Job Description
We are looking to onboard an accomplished Instructional Designer to join our client in USA. This is a 100% remote job.
This position is responsible for designing training programs for employees. The Instructional Designer will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to design a blended curriculum which includes best-in-class classroom-based training, dynamic and engaging self-paced learning modules, knowledge checks and real-world practice activities. The goal is to facilitate learners in deepening their knowledge, skills, and competencies to better serve our customers. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Skill / Qualifications
- A 4-year bachelor’s degree in instructional design, training, or similar relevant college coursework.
- 5+ years’ experience in instructional design or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working with Authoring Tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia) and Learning Managements Systems (Workday Learning).
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Experience with Adobe Programs (Captivate, Photoshop, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have ability to multi-task and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and flexibility in a busy office environment.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in instructional design or similar or equivalent experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates with SMEs to analyze assigned subject matter, identify learning needs, define course objectives and outline the approach to content delivery.
- Designs content including ILT/VILT, self-paced content, knowledge checks, practice activities and certifications relevant to the subject matter.
- Works with SMEs, management, L&E team, consultants and other staff to collect feedback and integrate into the content.
- Provides insight into industry best practices, instructional, video and visual storytelling trends, and emerging platforms.
