Overview:
Position Summary:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Specialist with a unique blend of eLearning,
technical writing, talent management, and project management skills. This position will build stakeholder
relationships across various levels and translate that into effective, blended learning solutions, materials, strategies,
and job aids.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Content:
  • Designs course outlines, develops technical product training content, and deliver blended experiential training solutions, materials and job aids using technical writing skills to create clear and informative content.
  • Leverage diverse e-Learning tools including shoot and edit videos, generative AI, design software (Articulate, etc) to enhance team member learning experience and retention. Use a variety of delivery methods including instructor-led, virtual, web-based or other learning solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments in collaboration with stakeholders to identify training requirements, develop strategies that align with organizational goals, and great plans ensuring milestones and objectives are net.
  • Test solutions and determine measurement to ensure training drives behavior change or targeted business outcomes.
Coordination:
  • Organize and facilitate in-person, remote, and on-the-job training sessions using various instruction methods to engage diverse audiences, including instructor led courses, virtual. web-based or other learning solutions.
  • Skilled in Train-the-Trainer design, communication, and partnership to effectively deliver through others
  • Administer learning management systems (LMS) (upload content, troubleshoot courses, manage user hierarchy and completion) to enhance training delivery, track progress, and assess training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling sessions, feedback surveys, and performance metrics
  • Manage all phases of projects, including proposals for strategy, design, technology use, project scope, identification of resources, project plan development, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and end-users to ensure training materials accurately reflect operational systems and processes and provide regular enablement reports to management.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and needs for areas of improvement and intervention.
  • Continuously update and refine solutions to reflect technological advancements, operational changes, and feedback from participants.

What we’re looking for:
Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Instructional Systems Design, Information Technology or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CTT+, ATD) is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in technical training, talent management, and project management.
  • Technical writing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and accessible training materials, solutions, and job aids.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to engage and educate adult learners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of learning management systems, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a broad knowledge of educational technology tools.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of effective training methods, tools, and strategies.
  • Keeps informed of new and developing trends in training and adult learning.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Articulate.
  • Initiative to take action to resolve issues, accomplish tasks, and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and act independently to fully complete the tasks.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Able to travel as needed to deliver training and support teams.
