Broker Dealer.
SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
This position requires a Series 4 License.
Reporting the SVP of Institutional Trading, this position will entail the following :
Manage and support institutional client relationships through trade desk support, execution and operational expertise. Able to interact with relationships to handle a wide array of support functions. Need trading execution experience in regards to equity trading (domestic and international), options and fixed income trading.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage institutional client's accounts
Execute trades for clients
Examine, assess and minimize the risk of specific positions, industry groups, and overall market
Work closely with research group to elaborate on their investment/trading ideas
Use in-house research products and pro-actively provide appropriate market information to grow business relationships
Successfully convert prospects from various lead sources
Transition orders from institutional clients to the execution desk - ensure quality service and execution
Stay current and informed of financial market sources
Represent the company at a variety of industry events (i.e. trade shows, sponsored events, etc.)
Provide Operational support to various business groups including but not limited to account opening, asset movement, trade reconciliation and breaks.
Special department projects as necessary.
Qualified Candidates will offer:
Trading operations experience
Knowledge of brokerage firm policies and procedures
Passionate and knowledgeable about financial markets, market making and sophisticated option strategies
Series 7, 63, 4 registered
Strong communication skills
Strong equity, options and merger arbitrage trading experience
Strong understanding of research analytics
The compensation range for this position is approximately 70-90K . (plus bonus eligibility and full benefits). This role is working in a support capacity in a Sell Side firm, assisting in executing Institutional customer orders as well as performing " trading desk operations" functions.
