Operation Research Data Analyst - Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA):
Collect, analyze, and interpret data on biomedical graduate studies, including student and postdoctoral fellow applicants, current students and fellows, and alumni of both tracks, to complete outcome assessment models and create new courses and programs for the Jefferson College of Life Sciences (JCLS). Identify innovative techniques and ideas to gather and analyze data. Prepare data and analyses for multiplatform publication, including print and digital publications, websites, and social media, for announcements and other purposes. Use the data in support of grant applications to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other funding agencies . Coordinate the college's assessment program for curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities, courses, and programs. Co-teach a course focused on career management skills for biomedical trainees. Using outcome assessment data, participate in mentoring activities in support of the college's career and professional development programs as well as college and university-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion committees and activities.
Qualifications
Requires a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in a Life Science-related field, such as Biomedical Science, and 2 years of experience conducting biomedical research in an academic setting as well as with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large data sets using multiple platforms , writing grant applications, and teaching graduate-level courses. Although not required, candidates whose experience includes administration of graduate education or postdoctoral training programs are preferred.
