Installation Technician (L)

Midwest Security Services is seeking a talented Installer/Installation Technician (Alarm Tech Level 1 preferred) with experience in troubleshooting, installation, service and preventive maintenance on commercial security products, including fire, intrusion/burglary systems, access control and CCTV systems or equivalent work-related experience in the low voltage, voice/data/service or security industry.

Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Alarm and low voltage systems

Communication with customer during the installation process and status of the job, schedule changes, delays, systems testing

Attends installation review meetings

Ensures assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget

Maintains and submits accurate paperwork and documentation

Installs conduit, coring, or trenching a plus

Installs/pulling cable and wire

General understanding of networking and IT infrastructure

Mounts panels, field devices, computers, power supplies

Programming, set-up, testing systems

Testing and inspections
