Installation Technician

Kendrick Heating and Air is searching for an Entry Level Installation Technician to join its team!
In this role, you will install heating and air conditioning systems in residential homes across the greater Sacramento area.

The main objective of this position is to be able to contribute to a two-man install team by completely handling the installation of an AC or Heat Pump condenser on your own. There will also be secondary tasks you should be able to do on the job daily. Secondary tasks are general tasks that help the overall progression of the job. Secondary tasks typically include but are not limited to: boot seal, clean up, lift assistance, installing duct work, and completing other general direction from the lead.
Responsibilities and Expected Experience:

• Install Replacement Split Heat Pump
• Install Traditional Condenser
• Install Mini-Split Heat Pump
• Test Ref. Line Pressure & Pull Vacuum
• Set Charge On Air Conditioners
• Properly Install All High and Low Voltage Connections
• Be Able to Install Properly Sized Breakers For A/C Circuit
• Install and Properly Set Schedule On Thermostat
• Install New Supply Vent Line & Grill
• Be Able To Finish A/C In Appropriate Timeline, In Order To Help Lead With Furnace
• Manage Install Truck Inventory

Qualifications:

• 0 - 1 years experience as part of and HVAC installation team
• Valid Drivers License
• EPA Certification or progress towards completing certification
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
