Job Description

The Installation Project Engineer Intern will collaborate with the Installation Manager within the WTG package. Responsibilities for this team include overseeing the logistics and construction of the Wind Turbines for the Vineyard Wind project. The construction element has two key segments the preassembly and storage activities conducted at the New Bedford port, and the subsequent installation at the offshore wind farm site. This internship has a flexible start date and will last twelve (12) weeks. Preferred start date is January 8, 2023.

About The Position:

  • Generate analysis/reports for offshore and onshore operations
  • Update and maintain claim sheet in collaboration with GE and DEME
  • Assist site managers in collecting information for the Daily Progress Report (DPE)
  • Compile documentation and prepare an internal handover packet for the Commissioning Team


About The Person:

  • Recent B.S. graduate or post-grad with a preference in Engineering and an interest in US energy policy and commercial development of renewables
  • Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Good organizational, verbal, and technical written communication
  • Effective time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • We follow a hybrid work model and require onsite presence three days a week in our New Bedford office
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US without sponsorship
