What you'll be doing:
As an Inspector, you will be using tools like calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and optical comparators to test all incoming raw material, material in process, and finished material. Because our customers have certain specifications for products, following testing and inspection procedures is important. If you detect any problems with the material, you will report them and help in determining the cause to eliminate future defects. That means your ability to solve problems is crucial to ensuring the material meets customer specifications. You'll also need to gain an understanding of federal regulations, including a variety of federal regulations and standards. Building up knowledge of our many products and processes and the flow of material across production departments is essential.
