Job DESCRIPTION:
- Visually inspect circuit boards to customer prints/specifications or industry standards
- Provide feedback to Inspection Lead and/or Quality Control Manager on quality issues
- Touch-up/rework surface imperfections using a soldering iron
- Other various tasks as needed to assist in quality organization and support customer requirements and production schedule
- Overtime may be required as needed
Job Requirements:
Final Inspection or Touch up/Rework requirements are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three plus years experience preferred
- Experience inspecting circuit board assemblies to Class 3, Class 3A, and Mil Spec requirements
- IPC-A-610 certification a plus but will train.
- J-STD-001 certification a plus but will train.
- Ability to perform basic board rework/touch-up
- Awareness of ITAR Regulations and ISO 9001 standards is preferred
- Able to work independently and work with other members of the quality group as well as manufacturing and engineering
- Make well informed decisions about questionable product
- Mathematical ability to sufficiently add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to communicate effectively in group meetings and discussions
- Ability to give and receive information accurately as well as providing accurate details of a possible defect seen
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Using hand tools such as pin gages, calipers, or soldering irons
- Both sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to do repetitive work and sit for long periods of time while using microscope for inspection
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25lbs with assistance
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience
- Must be a U.S. Person per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15
- This is a full-time, on-site position and cannot be supported remotely
