Overview: : Ensure all ready-to-eat products are properly cleaned and packaged while following all HACCP, SOP, and GMP guidelines.
Duties:
- Participate in morning set up of production room
- Help with mid-day clean and end of day clean up as instructed by Production Manager
- Product labeling as necessary
- Thoroughly inspect all picked meat in an efficient manner, remove any foreign matter
- Knowledge of satisfactory/unsatisfactory product
- Properly weigh-up bags of product, as instructed
- Bagging of meat in appropriate product packaging
- Operate vacuum sealer
- Ability to distinguish product type – as necessary
- Maintain valid count of multiple product totals (designated personnel)
- Fill daily meat samples for Quality Assurance
- Follow food safety, SOP and GMP guidelines at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Able to stand for long periods of time as well as consistent movement
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a hot/cold/wet environment
- Ability to communicate with others
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
