Job Summary: This position is an entry level position into dimensional metrology, primarily focusing on in-lab inspections of customer parts and will utilize metrology equipment such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), vision and optical equipment, and Surface finish and form equipment. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read a drawing, and the willingness and drive to learn and expand their skillset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains constant and clear communication with customers and fellow associates
Must retain information quickly and take detailed notes of training
Consistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic
Work with and around capital measurement equipment including CMMs, Vision and Video Machines, Surface Finish and Form
equipment among other equipment
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills mandatory
Computer competent with standard software packages including MS Word, Excel
Must be able to multitask, have a sense of urgency and great organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic

Physical and Mental Requirements:
The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to speak, write, and utilize a PC effectively.
The ability to navigate in an industrial environment
Must be able to walk, talk, hear, sit, stand, use hands repetitively
Must be able to work from the ground and work in tight spaces
Must be able to stoop and bend below knee level 1 – 2 times an hour
Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls less than 50 pounds but greater than 25 pounds occasionally
Reaches out and overhead
