Primary Job Purpose
The Insights Analyst is responsible for ongoing maintenance and analytics of a member experience survey platform. This role will require supporting integrations with various databases to enable triggering of surveys and having key data available for analytics. This role supports the member experience team through ongoing analytics to understand the "Voice of the Customer" and works with various departments to help enact change. This role will support survey programming, testing, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling, and reporting.
General Functions and Outcomes

• Survey design and programming through our customer experience tool.
  
• Supports integrations through APIs and SFTP to enable survey triggers and two-way flow of data.
  
• Analyzing survey data and compiling reports.
  
• Performs analyses that move beyond an explanation of 'what happened' to 'why it happened' and 'what should be done'. The successful analyst turns data observations into insights, insights into recommended actions, and works collaboratively to develop strategy.
  
• Executes analytics projects (data sourcing, analysis structure, and report/data visualization).
  
• Ensures the timely delivery of accurate project reporting and analyses.
  
• Creates, manages and drives analyses, KPI definition/measurement and analytics in support of corporate initiatives.
  

• Standardize and automate tracking and reporting of program KPIs
  
• Enable self-service routine reporting for program stakeholders and provide recommendations to client on appropriate methodology.
  
• Provides work team leadership for cross functional projects.
  
• Provides review of data sourcing and manipulation strategy, analytical methods and computational integrity.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred experience using a customer experience survey platform such as Qualtrics or Medallia.
  
• Demonstrated ability to create SQL queries, analyze large amounts of data, interpret qualitative data (research, feedback) and incorporate into analyses.
  
• Demonstrated experience with data extraction and preparation software, such as Toad, SAS, R, Python, or Alteryx, to collect and blend data from disparate data sources, to perform analyses and develop reports for consumption within multiple levels of the organization.
  
• Experience with data reporting tools- Tableau, Micro Strategies, PowerPoint and Excel.
  
• Experience with databases such as Snowflake is preferred.
  
• Demonstrated experience analyzing consumer web, app and mobile behavior.
  
• Ability to collaborate with team members and business partners to define, develop, and deliver analytics that meet the needs of the business to manage routine operations, identify tactical decisions, and inform strategic direction.
  
• Ability to work independently, managing deliverable timelines and clients.
  
• Ability to develop and produce accurate, error free final deliverables and to participate in and support a peer review culture.
  
• Ability to present complex data, analysis or findings to teams in a way that is clear and understandable and supports the overall business decisions and program efforts.
  

Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:
Insights Analyst I would have a B/A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Economics or related field and 0-3 years of experience in web/mobile/app analytics role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Insights Analyst II would have a B/A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Economics or related field and 3+ years of experience in web/mobile/app analytics role and statistical modeling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's preferred.
Work Environment
Work primarily performed in an office and/or remote environment.
The expected hiring range for an Insights Analyst II is $73,000 - $99,000 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $68,500 to $112,000.
