Job DescriptionJoin us in Arlington, VA, as an Insider Threat Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in protecting Navy personnel, information, and resources from potential Insider Threats. As a member of the government-led Insider Threat Fusion Cell/Analysis Team, you'll focus on information assurance, computer network defense, and information security.
Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data from the Insight Anomaly Detection System, developing Insider Threat detection programs, and performing functions such as cyber threat analysis, incident response, and network monitoring. Contribute to the development and implementation of cyber and information assurance programs, assisting in the integration and analysis of security data sources.
In this dynamic role, you'll generate analysis reports, brief team members and senior management on findings, and develop Insider Threat tactics, techniques, and procedures. QualificationsKey Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated practical experience performing the duties and responsibilities described above (experience may substitute for education)
- 1+ Years of Experience in one or more of the following areas – Insider Threat, All Source Intelligence Analysis, Counterintelligence, Personnel Security, cybersecurity, criminal justice/investigative analysis, risk management, or security operations, preferably within the Department of Defense or other federal departments and agencies
- Experience using security information and event management tools (e.g., HP ArcSight and McAfee ePO Host Based Security System)
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytic processes and various research tools, systems, procedures, and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting, and disseminating Insider Threat information/data; handling sensitive and protected information
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional - Analysis (CCITP-A)
- ISSP Certification
- Security+ Certification
- Information Assurance Technical or Information Assurance Management Level III certification
- Direct experience supporting DoD or US Navy Insider Threat programs
